If you were to ask me what my style is, I could not begin to tell you. I have been this way my whole life. I used to try to fit into one style-box. Believe me, I have tried them all, and none of them fit. If you look at me, my house, and my projects, you would probably say “random.” But not that messy, can’t get it together sort of random. I call it "My Gypsy Style." But others might say "more like, go where the inspiration-wind takes me." This applies to just about everything, cooking included. If I see something that needs to be done, I do it! Sometimes I plan it out for weeks other times I just pounce.
I have a gypsy spirit and business mind. Which is why I have two blogs. One for my cooking country life and one for my business/career. If you can call doing what you love a career. I can sometimes be a little unconventional, but I attribute that to do with my southern raise. Trust me, if "Southern Gypsy" wasn't already taken that would have been the name of this blog, cause it sums me up pretty perfectly. I am very down-home bohemian.
I love Jesus, my family, all things horror (especially zombies and CW's Supernatural), cooking, canning, building, animals, hunting, photography, classic rock, and the list goes on and on. But these are definitely at the tippy top!
My friends call me an enigma, I’ve had professors call me a contradiction, but really, my name is Amelia Gray, and I am a girl who loves cooking barefoot in the kitchen! I have dreams and plans, but mostly I go with where God brings me each day. I learned, most recently, that you really can't control your life. Jesus has His own plans for us.
